With the delivery of 200 ecological stoves, 40 homes, eight non-conventional electrification systems, five integral modules, four for family poultry and 12,000 liters of dairy products, the State Government, through the Welfare Secretariat, combats poverty multidimensional in Huehuetla.

During a tour of review and monitoring of these actions, the head of the unit, Lizeth Sánchez García, stated that this municipality has the support of the state administration, since the contribution it received in this support is higher than that of past years, and there is the intention to continue fighting poverty in the municipalities with the highest index of marginalization.

For his part, Mayor Rafael Lara Martínez thanked Governor Miguel Barbosa Huerta for contributing efficiently in the fight against poverty and pointed out that from 2019 to 2021 the municipality went from being the second poorest to occupying position number 12, which which shows that with will and teamwork it is possible to continue transforming the lives of those who live in the municipality.

In turn, Guadalupe Lobato Pérez, a resident of the 5 Mayo community, who benefited from the Non-Conventional Electrification program, said she was satisfied with the installation of the solar panel because, due to the distance from her home, she had been without electricity for 20 years; she can now connect small appliances and light bulbs to illuminate her home.
