In order to ensure that the population of the Mixteca has a better quality of life, the state government, through the Welfare Secretariat, continues to deliver social programs for the benefit of vulnerable people in this municipality.

At the Santa María Xuchiapan auxiliary board, the head of the unit, Lizeth Sánchez García, delivered packages of material and supplies as part of the Comprehensive Food Program and announced that in the last quarter of 2022 Izúcar will receive ecological stoves and dairy products.

The official reported that in 2021, 50 bedrooms with bathrooms, 126 firm roofs, 180 ecological stoves, 120 solar heaters and 80 water collectors were granted for the benefit of 2,224 people.

Sánchez García pointed out that Acatlán de Osorio will also receive solar panels and ecological stoves, while, in Guadalupe, the unit will deliver firm roofs for housing improvement before the end of 2022.

Finally, the Secretary of Welfare said that the Mixteca has the support of the Government of Puebla, for which she called on the beneficiaries of the Comprehensive Food Program to take care of their modules, since that is the means that the state administration has to contribute directly in providing healthy and quality food to vulnerable families in the region.
