VIDEO: Flight attendant tells traveler “I’m not your servant” after he made his companion cry | News from Mexico

TURKEY.-A viral video shows a flight attendant fending off a passenger after he allegedly brought her co-worker to tears over a meal request, furiously telling the traveler that she is not his “maid“.

“Shut the fuck up! I’m not your servant,” the crew member tells her. Indigo to the passenger in the video shared on Twitter by the Indian reporter Tarun Shukla.

The flight attendant was working on IndiGo flight 6E 12 from Istanbul to Delhi on December 16 when the dispute broke out, confirmed the low-cost Indian airline in a statement to Shukla.

Sanjiv Kapoor, CEO of Jet Airways, support to the crew employee saying that she is human too.

Sharing the clip on Twitter, Kapoor wrote: “As I said before, the crew is human too. It must have taken a lot to bring her to the breaking point. Over the years, I have seen crew members slapped and abused on board flights, called “servants” and worse. I hope you’re okay despite the Pressure where it should be.”

In the video, the flight attendant is seen sitting on the floor and talking to the passenger who is not seen in the recording.

Giving feedback, she is heard saying, “You pointed your finger at me and you are yelling at me. my partner is crying because of you, please try to understand that there is a cart, there are raised counters. We can always serve whatever you want.”

The man is then heard asking dryly, “Why are you yelling?”, and the crew member reiterates his stance, exploding: “why did you yell at us“.

In a statement, an IndiGo spokesperson confirmed: “The problem was related to the foods chosen by certain passengers traveling via a codeshare connection.

But the worker’s response reportedly infuriated the man and brought an employee to tears.

The second flight attendant intervened and asked the man to “please try to understand”.

IndiGo finally said that it was aware of the needs of its customers and “it is our constant effort to provide a courteous and hassle-free experience for passengers. We are investigating the incident and would like to ensure that customer comfort is always our top priority.”
