The final series of MX League Come in Pachuca and Toluca could be historic for Jorge Torres Nilo, since winning the Red Devilsthe chest will tie the record gabriel knighta legend of Tuzos who is to date the player with the most championships in short tournaments.

However, this dream of Torres Nilo has become too complicated, because in the Ida match Toluca lost 5-1 and they have to win the Vuelta by four goals difference to force extra time; really a very difficult mission, but not impossible.

If the miracle happens…

Torres Nilo would be the Mexican with the most titles, he has five stars, all achieved in the golden age of Tigres; Caballero (Argentine) has six trophies in his record, five of them with Pachuca.

First, Knight with Santos Laguna won the Winter 1996 title against Necaxathis being the beginning of his brilliant career in Mexican soccer.

Later, with Pachuca, he won the Winter 1999 tournament (vs Cruz Azul), Winter 2001 (Tigres), Apertura 2003 (Tigres), Clausura 2006 (San Luis) and Clausura 2007 (América).

He could have added two other trophies, but in the Verano 2001 and Clausura 2009 they were finals that he lost to Santos and Cougarsrespectively.

It’s time for the breast

El Pechu won with Tigres the titles of Apertura 2011, Apertura 2015, Apertura 2016, Apertura 2017, Clausura 2019, beating Santos, Pumas, América, Rayados and León, respectively.

Like Caballero, Torres Nilo could have added two other pennants, but the felines fell in the finals of the Apertura 2014 with América and in the Clausura 2012 with Chivas, in the controversial final where Luis Enrique Santander did not score a penalty in favor of the UANL.
