The owners of AEW would be on the list of possible buyers of WWE

According to Barron’ssister publication of the Wall Street Journal, reported that Tony Khan and Shahid Khan, owners of AEW, would be interested in buying WWE. The report indicates that the Khan family would be on the list of possible buyers, according to the versions provided by a source close to the transaction.
The information adds that the Khan family would probably look for a financial partner, with the purpose of acquiring the asset. It should be remembered that Shahid Khan, father of Tony Khan, is already the owner of the NFL team Jacksonville Jaguars, Fulham FC of the English Premier League and recently of All Elite Wrestling.
This means that your budget is quite large and from what is known his fortune could have sufficient resources to make this transaction or at least be on the list of candidates to stay with WWE.
In parallel, this week Tony Khan was asked on the podcast in the zoneif he had been aware of the return of Vince McMahon to WWE, to which the owner of AEW replied: “Yes, absolutely, I’m following it very closely.”
Finally, it has been known that Comcast would be number one as a potential buyer, due to its long relationship with WWE. However, Endeavor has been rumored to be on that list as well. As Dave Meltzer commented on Wrestling Observer Radio, Nick Khan recently met with Disney CEO Bob Iger and ESPN Chairman James Pitaro.
