Jamahal Hill defeats Glover Teixeira via unanimous decision (50-44, 50-44, 50-44) to claim the light heavyweight belt. The lawsuit has been intense from beginning to end. The Brazilian started looking for the takedown, but Hill responded with kicks to the body. He presented a good defense and controlled the match. Teixeira tried to press, but the American landed hard combinations of punches. He was touched with two cuts above both eyes, but he tried to win until the end.
Brandon Moreno wins by TKO in the third round and is proclaimed flyweight champion. The lawsuit was hotly contested. The fight went to the ground as soon as it started, they exchange blows and Figueiredo grabs his leg. The Brazilian pressed hard, but Moreno managed to get out. In the third round, the Mexican connects a hard hand to Figueiredo’s eye, which hurts. The fight goes to the ground again and the Brazilian endures with his eye totally closed. The doctor did not let him go for the fourth round.
Gilbert Burns submits Neil Magny in the first round. The Brazilian landed a body kick and quickly took the fight to the ground. With his jiu jitsu skills, he dominated the situation on the mat and finished with a triangle.
Jessica Andrade prevails by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-25, 30-26) against Lauren Murphy. The Brazilian overwhelmed the American from start to finish. She started off by throwing low kicks and landed one to the chin. She kept throwing punches and kicks, and Murphy tried to stop her with the jab and bring the fight to the ground to no avail. Andrade’s superiority has been clear.
Johnny Walker wins by TKO in the first round against Paul Craig. The Brazilian started with a strong low kick, and followed with a hard right hand. The Scotsman grabbed his leg, but he went to the ground and Walker punished him with blows until the referee stopped the clash.
