Jeanologia adds in 2021. The Valencian company, specializing in machinery and technology for denim finishing, ended the year with its sales on the rise and its profit shooting up, according to the accounts deposited in the Mercantile Registry and collected by Valencia Square.
In the financial year, Jeanologia’s income stood at 62.5 million euros, 5% more than in the same period of the previous year. The benefit, for its part, went from 4.2 million euros to 16 million euros.
The company explained that the result is due to the recovery of the textile industry after the pandemic, which has returned to normal production levels, although it has not yet reached the levels of before the coronavirus crisis.
“The improvement experienced in the operating result has allowed the company to return all the financing requested in the previous year in precaution of the possible restrictive effects that the pandemic could cause on its liquidity,” the company says. In the exercise, in addition, Jenealogia has reestablished the balance of its subsidiary in Italy, which in 2020 recorded extraordinary losses of 3.6 million euros.
