The altercation was recorded in front of the Palácio da Alvorada, Bolsonaro’s official residence. There, Leão was waiting for him and when the president’s car arrived, the young man began to yelling questions at him about his form of government.

Accompanied by his security agents, Bolsonaro got out of the car and approached the young man, took him by the arm and shirt, while trying to take away the cell phone.

The security guards of the Presidency did not take long to intervene and tried to contain the citizen and take away his cell phone. The entire scene was recorded by a journalist who was at the scene and who was also a security guard. ordered him to stop filming the situation.

The Institutional Security Office did not comment on the episode. Leão also did not comment on social networks about what happened.
