How to make the playlist for the future of Spotify? Follow these steps and listen to it in 2024
Spotify released a new feature, the “Playlist for the future”. In it, each person will select three songs related to a special moment related to this 2023. Exactly one year from now, the application will send a notification with the playlist to find out if their purposes were achieved.
Each year that begins offers us hundreds, if not thousands, of new opportunities, new beginnings and new hopes. Many people enjoy accompanying our day to day with music. With that in mind, Spotify threw this function that will make us wait a whole year to discover our list.
The first step is to select where will you save your playlist and the app offers multiple sites. Among the options we find a glass bottle, the back pocket of a pair of jeans, a gum dispenser, a cooler or a teddy bear.

The next page requests choose a song for three different things; a song you’d like to hear live in 2023, one that reminds you of your favorite person, and finally a song you’ll kiss someone with this year.
Once you have selected this type of musical “sample”, a message will appear confirming that your playlist was saved successfully. Then you will see the following message: “Your playlist has been saved. We’ll let you know when you can play your playlist on January 2024!”
Once the 365 days of the year are up, Spotify will send us a reminder through a notification. In this way we will know that the time has come to finally enjoy our playlist for the future.
It is very important that you reflect on your answers well (or not, if you don’t want to). This kind of “time capsule” digital and musical only once. So if you regret it, you should know that there will be no going back.
