During broadcasts of Monday Night RAW through USA Network, it has been confirmed that Roman Reigns will defend the Unified Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39the most important event of the year in WWE.

A couple of days ago Cody Rhodes made history at Royal Rumble 2023 by earning the battle royale victory of 30 male superstars. In her first public appearance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, American Nightmare made his decision official for the main confrontation of the great event. “I always say that in wrestling there is more than one royal family, and WWE is no exception. I am aware of what I have to face at WrestleMania if I want the title. I know my goal is Roman Reigns“.

Tribal Chief maintains a reign of 882 days and 26 defenses with the Universal title since Payback 2020, to which added the WWE Championship to him last year at WrestleMania 38. Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar on April 3, 2022 in Dallas, Texas to obtain this last title and unify both belts. Will the great event of 2023 be its final point, or will we have a new victory courtesy of the Head of the Table?

WWE WrestleMania 39 will take place on April 1 and 2, 2023 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Both nights of the great event will be broadcast exclusively for WWE Network and Peacock in the United States. Announcement of more matchups for the undercard is expected in the coming weeks.
