FC Bayern Frauen, a two-time German League Champion and one of the world’s biggest sports brands, today announces a partnership with Tigres Femenil, another leader in women’s soccer, a five-time Liga MX champion.
The multi-year collaboration between these two powerhouse clubs will kick off with a friendly match on January 21, 2023 in San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León. The partnership will allow both clubs the opportunity to grow their respective brands outside of Europe and Mexico, respectively, through various sports and marketing initiatives.
“Mexico is home to a large FC Bayern fan base and is therefore an important market for us. As we work to establish a greater presence within the country, we are looking to align with the right partners. Tigres Femenil is a leader in women’s soccer and we look forward to bringing this initiative to life,” said Andreas Jung, member of the Sponsorship and Marketing Executive Board.

With this cooperation agreement, FC Bayern Frauen and Tigres Femenil hope to continue growing women’s soccer worldwide and use this sport as a vehicle for social development in Latin America. In addition, every year three Tigres Femenil players and coaches will travel to Munich to train and share experiences on the FC Bayern campus together with FC Bayern Frauen.
