Change the release date of Super Mario Bros.: The Movie in some countries: updated list with Spain, America and more

The highly anticipated Super Mario movie continues to leave us with more news. We bring more information ahead of its premiere.

Super Mario Bros.: The Movie

You already know Nintendo offered a first Nintendo Direct of its film with the first teaser trailer of it, available in Castilian and Latin Spanish. Then a second Nintendo Direct has been shared with another trailer that also you can see in these languages. And now we get more news.

These are updated release dates for the film. It seems that these have changed in some countries, while in Spain the film has been delayed until April, with a date yet to be determined.

The rest of the dates confirmed and updated to February 1 are these:

The movie

remember that this super mario movie It is expected to be released on April 7, 2023 in the United States and a week earlier in Spain (March 31, 2023), after being delayed (previously it was to be released on Christmas 2022). The film is co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and features striking voice actors for Mario (Chris Pratt), Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Luigi (Charlie Day), Bowser (Jack Black), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key ), Donkey Kong (Seth Rogen), Cranky Kong (Fred Armisen), Kamek (Kevin Michael Richardson) and Spike (Sebastian Maniscalco).

The film is being produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who previously collaborated on the Teen Titans Go! The film’s script is being written by Matthew Fogel, who worked on The LEGO Movie 2 and the Illumination Minions Movie: Rise of Gru.
