WWE celebrates Crown Jewel this weekend, an event marked by a broad billboard, the fight between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul and also by the occasional absence due to ideals or other issues.

The last case, as far as absences are concerned, is that of MVP. Mike Johnson, a journalist for PW Insider, has confirmed that the wrestler-manager will not be present at the show, so you will not be able to act as a manager in the fight between Braun Strowman and his protégé, Omos. “We are told that MVP will not be there for Omos vs. Braun Strowman,” Mike Johnson wrote.

It seems that MVP’s motive is something personal and his criminal offenses in the past have nothing to do with his absence. “My criminal record hasn’t stopped me from traveling anywhere for quite some time. Those who ‘report’ that I can’t travel due to my felony convictions are WRONG. As always. I’m used to it,” MVP wrote on Twitter.

This is not the first time this has happened these weeks. Sami Zayn has also not traveled to Saudi Arabia. The reasons for his absence are political, and that is because Sami has Syrian descent, and that country is an enemy of Saudi Arabia, where the Premium Live Event is being held. Definitely, both will be important absencessince both are very involved in the corresponding stories.

WWE Crown Jewel 2022 will take place on Saturday, November 5 at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fans will be able to witness this event live from the stands, or through its broadcast on WWE Network (Peacock in the United States).
